What you’ll do

• Build responsive and accessible web applications using React and Next.js
• Develop backend services and APIs with .NET Core (C#), ensuring scalability and performance
• Integrate applications with Sitecore CMS and other business systems
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code across the stack
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and product stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment (Azure), and system monitoring
• Share knowledge and best practices with teammates and actively contribute to improving how we work

You’re a collaborative problem-solver with a hands-on mindset and a passion for building things that work beautifully. You take ownership, stay curious, and balance technical precision with a practical approach. In a fast-paced, evolving environment, you bring structure, clear communication, and a drive to continuously improve — turning complexity into meaningful, scalable solutions.

You’ll be responsible for

• Deliver reliable, maintainable, and secure code that meets functional requirements and technical standards.
• Contribute to improved system stability and performance through proactive debugging, testing, and operational awareness.
• Support the team’s productivity by effectively managing tasks, communicating blockers, and ensuring timely completion of assigned work, collaborating beyond core capabilities when needed (t-shaping)
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement through constructive feedback, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Demonstrate accountability for personal work, contributing to team goals and maintaining alignment with organizational priorities

This is where you’ll work

You’ll join the Tech department — a diverse team of innovators and engineers working on systems that enable Eneco’s sustainable mission. You’ll focus on the B2B domain, building and maintaining digital solutions that streamline business processes, enhance customer experiences, and enable efficient collaboration across teams. You’ll work hybrid, combining focus days at home with collaboration days in our Rotterdam HQ.

What we have to offer



Gross annual salary between €60 and €80

Including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on your role a bonus or collective profit sharing.

Hybrid working: home, office or abroad

Work 40% at the office, 40% from home, and 20% flexibly. With manager approval, you may work abroad (within approved countries) up to 3 weeks/year, max 2 consecutively.
