Construction Engineer- TAKT Planner

We are seeking a Construction Engineer responsible for on-site execution during the Construction Management (CM) phase of a pharmaceutical/industrial project. The role focuses on daily site coordination, contractor management, schedule adherence, and GMP-compliant installation oversight.

Site Execution & Coordination
- Lead day-to-day construction activities across assigned areas
- Coordinate subcontractors and trades to ensure efficient workflow
- Ensure readiness of work fronts (materials, permits, access, etc.)

Planning & Workface Execution
- Support implementation of takt planning / short-term planning
- Track progress and escalate delays
- Coordinate with planners to maintain schedule adherence

Daily Site Leadership
- Lead morning coordination meetings
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Communicate daily priorities clearly

Installation Oversight
- Oversee installation of stainless steel piping, vessels, and equipment
- Ensure pharma-grade quality and compliance
- Supervise cleanroom and controlled environment construction

GMP & Quality Compliance
- Ensure compliance with EU GMP and QA/QC procedures
- Coordinate inspections and quality checks

Contractor Management
- Monitor subcontractor performance
- Ensure adherence to safety and method statements

• A Degree level qualification in Construction Management or related discipline/
• Good inter-personal and communication skills;
• The ability to work in a vibrant and busy environment.
